PURPOSE:To attain efficient operation by adding a storage device storing an output data of a multiplier and inputting the data in the storage device to an adder so as to store temporarily the value of the multiplier. CONSTITUTION:A data memory 1 stores and outputs a data desired to be inputted to a multiplier 3, a coefficient memory 2 stores and outputs the coefficient of a filter characteristic obtained now, both the data are multiplied by the multiplier 3 and the result is inputted to an adder 4 and a storage device 5. The data inputted to the adder 4 is subjected to multiplication and addition until the turning point and the result of multiplication inputted to the storage device 5 is inverted for the order by a control means 6 and then fed to the adder 4. Thus, the number of times of multiplication is executed by a half up to that till the turning point, the same result as the operation of a noncyclic digital filter applying multiplication and addition to all the data and coefficients is obtained and the high efficiency is obtained.
