PURPOSE:To change the revolution of a rotating body easily by a standard motor by a method wherein a coupling in which a permanent magnet is incorporated is so provided as to be able to move along the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A coupling 5 in which a permanent magnet 6 is incorporated is connected to a driving machine 3 and the coupling 5 is so provided as to be able to move along the axial direction of the driving machine 3. A conductive plate 24, which is incorporated in a rotating body 20, is provided so as to face the permanent magnet 6 incorporated in the coupling 5 and to be able to rotate freely. If the coupling 5 on the driving machine 3 side is moved along the axial direction to change the distance between the coupling 5 and the rotating body 20, eddy current induced in the conductive plate 24 by the rotation of the permanent magnet 6 incorporated in the coupling 5 is varied so that the revolution of the rotating body 20 can be varied.
