A fuel injection valve is proposed which, as part of a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines, serves for the injection of fuel. The fuel injection valve comprises a nozzle body (10) with a valve needle (19) which is guided therein and has a stop shoulder (49), upstream of which a stop plate (13) fixed to the housing is provided.
