PURPOSE:To obtain a heavy-duty anticorrosive paint acting the roles of primer, undercoating and intercoating paint, applicable with saved labor and giving a coating film having excellent acid resistance and strength, by compounding a chelate-modified epoxy resin with hollow zircon particles and a solvent at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:The objective paint can be produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.(wt.) of a chelate-modified epoxy resin with (B) 72-190pts. of hollow zircon particle (preferably having an average particle diameter of 0.1-10mum) and (C) 250-290pts. of a solvent as basic constituent components and, preferably, adding (D) 4-6pts. of an antisettling agent and (E) a color paint.
