PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity of applying high-grade working to a lead frame by soldering the external terminal of a magneto-resistance effect element to the end part of a lead wire member made of thin metallic plate to make the lead wire member assume specified fitting attitude. CONSTITUTION:End parts 8a, 9a of lead wire members 8, 9 made of thin metallic plate are used as terminals of a magnetic head. Other end parts 8b, 9b of the members 8, 9 are fixed to external terminals 6, 7 of a magneto-resistance effect element MR by soldering 10, 11. When the members 8, 9 and the element MR made to specified mode of connection are set in synthetic resin having specified external form, a magnetic head of a structure in which constituent parts such as the element MR etc., are set in the case 13 of the magnetic head made of synthetic resin having specified external form is obtained. Accordingly, a frame formed at high accuracy is not necessary as a lead frame used for constituting a magnetic head.
