PURPOSE:To increase the filtration area and to simplify the disassembling the assembling of the titled filter by providing plural glasslined filter surface forming members in the vertical direction and forming a sequence of filter surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A columnar tube 21, which is the filter surface forming member, is vertically provided through a bottom part 6 and integrated with the bottom part 6 by welding. The tube is lined with glass from the inner surface of the bottom part 6 to the surface of the tube 21. Chemicals, etc., are injected from an inlet part 16 and filtered by the continuous filter medium. The filtrate is passed through a porous material arranged between the filter medium and the tube 21 and the bottom part 6 and discharged to the outside from an outlet part 22. When a filter vessel 4 disassembled and cleaned, a clamp 7 is firstly released, a lid part 5 and the bottom part 6 are separated, the bottom part 6 is lowered by a lifting means, and the bottom part 6 is turned through an angle of >=90 deg. by a rotary part 11. The air, etc., is forced in from the outlet part 22 and the filter cake can be easily removed.
