摘要 PURPOSE:To smooth the way for power transmission, by installing a front-wheel differential gear in a central part of the car width direction and, when an engine is also installed in the central part of the car width direction from the standpoint of weight balance, setting up a front-wheel output shaft at the more central side of the car width direction than a rear-wheel output shaft. CONSTITUTION:A front-wheel differential gear 17 is installed in a width direction central part at the front of a body frame 2, while an engine 12 is also installed in the width direction central part of the front side of the body frame 2. And, at one side of the engine 12, there is provided with each of output shafts for front- and rear-wheels, and each of these output shafts 29 and 31 is interlockingly connected to the front-wheel differential gear 17 and the side of rear wheels 20 via each of universal joint shafts 27 and 30. In this device, the front-wheel output shaft 29 is set up at the more width direction central side than the rear-wheel output shaft 31, and interlockingly connected to a driven pinion 18 of the front-wheel differential gear 17 via the universal joint shaft 27. With this constitution, each angle of these universal joint shafts 27 and 30 is reducible and the way for power transmission is ever so smoothable.
