PURPOSE:To surely detect the abnormality of transmission and to prevent unnecessary operation by discriminating the change of the specific data transmitted from a control system of an operation part and controlling the execution of image forming action according to the result thereof. CONSTITUTION:An operation part CPU4 as the control system of the operation part to make data communication with a main CPU1 codes the operation information from the operation part 2 and sends the same to the CPU1; at the same time said CPU controls the driving of a display part 3 according to the display data from the CPU1. A display part 31 for the number of copies which displays the number of copies can make 3-digit display by 3 pieces of 7-segment segments LEDs 31a-31c. A display part 32 for copying magnification can make 3-digit display by 3 pieces of 7-segment LEDs 32a-32c. The CPU1 controls the image forming action of the main body according to the control data inputted thereto and prior to such control, judgement of whether the correct control data conforming to the setting is transmitted by the operation part 3 or not is made in the CPU1 having the function as the discriminating means. |
