PURPOSE:To automatically put a seam part outside a cloth conveying carrier and prevent unevenness of dyeing caused by insufficient drying by bringing a cloth guide close to a suction box and allowing said box to adsorb said seam of cloth when said seam arrived at the outlet of said cloth guide. CONSTITUTION:When the seam of a cloth F is detected by a detector 20, if a cloth guide 7 is positioned on a suction box 43 side, the phase of a crank arm 16 is detected by a detector 19 and an output signal is sent to a control unit 21. However, a pulse motor 23 remains stopped and a swinging roller 5 continues to rotate at a standard peripheral speed. Therefore, the guide 7 makes two reciprocations of a swinging stroke and is brought close to the box 43 until the seam of the cloth F reaches its outlet. On the other hand, a cloth length measuring instrument 12 which is connected to the unit 21, starts to measure the traveling length of the cloth F at the same time the seam is detected and, when it reached L, a selector valve 44 is opened causing a suction force act at the suction pot of the box and, thereby, the seam is adsorbed while a rod 48 is swung to the chained line on the figure, pulling the seam part toward the outside of a cloth conveying carrier 8. |
