PURPOSE:To obtain high by excellent high-printing resisting power and to improve shelf stability, visible image forming characteristic by exposure and image reproducibility by using a diazo compd. prepd. by binding a specific diazo compd. with a polymer contg. a residual carboxylic group or a residual carboxylic anhydride group. CONSTITUTION:The diazo resin prepd. by binding the diazo compd. expressed by the formula (1) by esterification with the polymer contg. the residual carboxylic group or residual carboxylic anhydride group is used as the diazo resin of a photosensitive lithographic printing plate constituted by providing the photosensitive layer contg. the diazo resin on a aluminum sheet having an anodized layer obtd. by an anodic oxidation treatment in phosphoric acid or electrolyte essentially consisting of phosphoric acid and having 200-900Angstrom average pore size and 100-100pieces/m<2> pore density. The rate of the diazo compd. to be incorporated may be 10%-95%, more preferably 15%-90%.
