PURPOSE:To provide a molded part of light weight, high strength, high rate of elasticity and low susceptibility to water, and without breakings or hairness by utilizing, as the reinforced fiber in the reinforced plastic, the fiber of specific aromatic polyester. CONSTITUTION:As the reinforced fiber to be used in the reinforced plastic, the fiber of aromatic polyester having anisotropy at the time of fusion is utilized. After the said aromatic polyester fiber is put in order in one direction, it is impregnated with the epoxy resin to produce the semirigid pre-preg sheet. After the said pre-preg sheet is wound around the tapered steel rod, heated and cured, the tapered rod is extracted out to form up a tubular molded part. the said tubular molded part has a good surface and a high strength to bending. The weight is lessened by 30% compared with glass polyester laminate.
