PURPOSE:To enlarge the width of adjustment of the combustion quantity, improve the durability of the burner part and reduce the quantity of NOx generated at the time of combustion by the combination of burner ports made of a porous sintered body, flame port wire net, and a burner with ceramic flame spraying. CONSTITUTION:A burner head 4 forming a sintered body of a porous silica-alumina system, for example, into a cylindrical shape has no burner ports on a straight line from the inner sides of burner ports to the outer surface but has lglyrinth-like vent holes existing in a complicated manner within the sintered body, and has a large number of burner holes 5 on the outer surface. A cylindrical burner port wire net 6 is loaded on the outer side surface in a substantially hermetically attached manner, and, for example, a kojilite-alumina system ceramic flame coating is applied from the outer periphery of the wire net 6, and the net 6 is formed integrally with the burner head 4. The burner cap 7 blocks the upper end opening of the burner head 4. On a vaporizing cylinder 8 made of aluminum die casting moldings casting therein a heater 9 the burner head 4 is placed on an upper end flange portion 10. A combustion surface 17 forming a flame is placed between the flange portion 10 and the burner cap 7.
