PURPOSE:To attain the reproduction of a data even when two IDs among a pre-format ID, a recorded ID and the ID of a data part are inflicted with a flaw, etc., and are illegible by adopting a constitution that the data reproduction is started when either a track address or a sector address is readable. CONSTITUTION:The constitution is adopted that a data read start signal 201 is generated to read a data and the data 205 of the data part is sent to a host device when an ID SYNC detection signal 107 from the pre-format ID, or an ID SYNC detection signal 202 from a recorded ID or an ID SYNC detection signal 203 of the data part is generated. Thus, normal reproduction is attained only when any of the pre-format ID, or the recorded ID or the data part ID is recorded correctly at the data read.
