PURPOSE:To conduct positive carrying without generating a jam by floating and supporting a driving pin for a pinwheel arranged at the upper stream side of a sheet material opposite to a platen with respect to a pinwheel driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:In the cases of continuous carrying at a high temperature and high humidity or the use of fan-fold paper 8 having a high friction coefficient, the carrying force F3 of a platen roller 2 is increased, peripheral velocity V2 on the platen roller 2 side of fan-fold paper 8 is made larger than that V1 of the pinwheel 5 side, and holes in paper 8 tend to be displaced in the direction of rotation from the positions of pins 10. Consequently, force in the A direction is applied to a pinwheel 5 through the pins 10, and the pinwheel 5 is turned at speed higher than the rotating speed of a shaft 6 by one-way clutch 20. Accordingly, holes in fan-fold paper 8 do not slip out of the pins 10, thus generating no paper jam, then allowing positive carrying. |
