<p>PURPOSE:To increase the lifetime of a built-in power supply by discriminating the working state between an external power supply and a built-in power supply and then selecting the optimum printing speed to both working states respectively. CONSTITUTION:A battery 4 is connected to a power supply line 7 if a DC plug of an AC adaptor 3 has no connection at a power supply selecting part 5. In this case, the battery AC adaptor discrimination signal is set at '1' and a power supply line receives the feed from an AC adaptor if a DC plug of the adaptor 3 is connected. Thus the battery AC adaptor discrimination signal is set at '0'. An information processing main body part 1 controls a printing part 2 at a high speed and a low speed when the battery AC adaptor discrimination signal is equal to '0' and '1' respectively.</p> |
