PURPOSE:To improve heat transfer efficiency by a method wherein the delivery pipe and the return pipe of hot-water are provided at the side of a water chamber, the water chamber and a bath boiler are formed so as to have slender configurations, one or a plurality of deflecting plates is attached to the inside of the bath boiler to form a flue having several paths and water tubes are provided vertically in the flue. CONSTITUTION:A slender and oblong water chamber 1 is formed and a slender and oblong boiler 2 is provided in the water chamber 1. The fore surface, rear surface and one side surface of the bath boiler 2 are formed so as to be narrow while the other side surface is formed widely with a supply chamber 3. One or a plurality of deflecting plates is attached to the inside of the bath boiler 2 to form a combustion chamber 5 and a flue 6 having several paths and numberless water tubes 7 are attached to the flue 6 of the bath boiler 2 vertically while a hot-water delivery pipe 8 is attached to the upper part of the front side of the water chamber 1 and a return tube 9 is attached to the lower part of the front surface of the supplying chamber 3. The upper part of the water chamber 1, thus constituted, is connected to the upper part of a bathtub 10 through the hot-water delivery pipe 8 while the lower part of the same is connected through return tubes 9 in zigzag. Water may be heated efficiently, fuel may be saved, the cleaning of the water tubes and the flue may be facilitated and heat transfer efficiency may be kept in high.
