PURPOSE:To prevent humidified ashes from forming lumps while preventing bridges from producing within a storage tank by laminating and storing humidied flying ashes in a suitably broken state by a layer of burnt residual substances in ash storage tank. CONSTITUTION:Flying ashes are once stored in a flying ash hopper 8 by humidification or humidified granulation. form the hopper 9 flying ashes are introduced into a humidifier 11 quantatively by a flying ash cutout machine 10, and is humidified in a predetermined humid state by water 12 supplied quantatively. In the case of granulating, a cement 13 is mixed according to the necessity. Humidified flying ashes are sent to an ash storage tank 15 via a granulating machine 15 as it is. In this case, burnt residual substances discharged by a sieving device 6 are received temporarily by a residual substance hopper 16. An operation signal of the humidifies 11 is received by a sequence controller 17, and residual substances are cut out intermittently cut out machine 18 at every predetermined quantity of flying ashes processed by the humidifier 11, and charged into the ash content storage tank 15.
