A sideplate for a turbine disk is secured to the disk by cooperating bayonet fastening means on the plate and disk, and the plate carries a seal adjacent to its inner periphery, and two pilot areas cooperating with the disk to maintain concentricity, an outer rim seal near the disk periphery, and the sideplate rests on the disk near the periphery to hold the blades in position and to direct the cooling air through the disk.
