PURPOSE:To simplify an operation and to improve a maintenance service by providing a mark having a remote maintenance function on a part of a specified form (OMR form), and making perform the function setting the OMR form when a bit maintenance information is required. CONSTITUTION:A control part 1 starts a facsimile communication operation based on a bit of a key depression information from an operation part 7. And it supervises an operation status controlling a series of transmitting/receiving operations, and records the result of those operations on a maintenance information memory part 8 constituted with a nonvolatile RAM as the bit of maintenance information (a bit of administration information). At such a time, when the maintenance of a user's FAX is performed by using the remote maintenance function at a maintenance depo, a FAX telephone number of the user is marked on the OMR form by every user with a regulated system using the FAX at the maintenance depo, and when required, the bit of maintenance information from each user's FAX is collected starting up the OMR form with the FAX at the maintenance depo.
