摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunctions of a pulse width measuring circuit, by generating a pulse signal having a pulse width which is larger than that of a analog signal to be measured and controlling the pulse width so that it can be made coincident with the pulse width of the analog signal to be measured. CONSTITUTION:An analog comparator 15 discriminates an input signal at a set comparison level. A level setting means 17 sets a voltage level in corresponding with the repeated number of times of the input signal. The voltage level and leading of the output pulse of the comparator 15 are inputted to a pulse width modulating circuit 20 as a pulse width control signal and trigger signal, respectively. Moreover, the pulse width of an output pulse from the circuit 20 is previously set so that it can necessarily become larger than the pulse width of a signal to be measured. When a coincidence detecting means 39 detects that the tail end section of the output pulse of the comparator 15 almost coincides with that of the output signal of the circuit 20, an output pulse having an accurate pulse width is obtained at an output terminal 25. Therefore, the pulse width of an input signal can be determined accurately even when the input signal is distorted in waveform.
