PURPOSE:To feed and insert a band with high efficiency by providing a beam having a dog for pushing out a band member in order, and a beam which can suspend said ring type reinforcing band members through the inside of said band members. CONSTITUTION:In order to receive a reinforcing band 2, the whole reinforcing bands 2 stocked on a feed beam 18 are pushed out by means of a push dog 21 by operating a cylinder 22, and are stopped in a position where the foremost reinforcing band 2 is completely moved onto an inserting beam 6. After that, a stopper 17 is lifted up and a slide cylinder 7 is operated, to back up the inserting beam 6 up to a defined position. As for inserting operation, after the inserting beam 6 is proceeded to the pipe end position of a steel pipe 1, a push dog 13 is operated to push out the reinforcing band 2 and insert it into the pipe end part. The push-in quantity of the reinforcing band 2 can be adjusted by adjusting the push-in quantity of the push dog 13 with respect to the end part of the steel pipe 1.
