<p>The invention relates to a process and a device for treating water. In the process according to the invention, the filter (1) is flushed with compressed air in the countercurrent direction in the filter, when the well or the reservoir (7) for the intermediate storage of the water is aerated at the same time. This water reservoir functions at the same time as a functional space for the biological process, while the increased masses or the sediment which is formed in the device function as a growth underlayer for the water treatment and the function of the device. The device according to the invention is a filter (1) which is placed in the water supply system on the side (7) which is without pressure and which additionally comprises, apart from a mechanical filtration (3), a biological filtration (2), a chemical filtration (2) or another function causing filtration (2). <IMAGE></p> |
