发明名称 NON AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the current collecting performance in a positive electrode and also reduce expansion of the positive electrode due to repeated charge/ discharge cycles by arranging a plurality of meshed current collecting members in the positive electrode and bringing respective portions of current collecting members in tight mutual contact. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode comprising a plurality of meshed current collecting members 2 and a positive electrode black mix 4, a non-aqueous electrolyte having alkali metal ion conductivity and a negative electrode 7 employing an alkali metal as an active material are employed in a cell. The positive electrode current collecting member 2 (titanium expand metal, for example) and a cell case 1 are tightly fixed together through spot welding or the like at several points and the black mix 4 is burried in it. With such a composition, the current collecting performance in the plate is improved because the black mix 4 is burried into the current collecting member 2 formed into a three- dimensional mesh. Since the current collecting members 2 maintain tight contact at several points and function as spring members, irreversible expansion of the plate due to charge/discharge is eliminated and the conductivity in the plate is maintained.
