In a casing 10 there is disposed an axle-less spiral 11, which is driven by a drive mechanism 14,15 placed in that end of the casing in which an intake opening 12 is situated. The discharge part 16 of the casing and the free end of the spiral are from the side directed towards the centre axis for a substantially vertically orientated casing 20, this too containing an axle-less spiral 21. A drive mechanism 24,25 rotates the axle-less spiral, which in its upper part has a free end and terminates close to a discharge opening 27 which is situated in the extension of the casing. The combination of vertically directed casing and axle- less spiral is dimensioned such that its transport capacity exceeds the transport capacity of the substantially horizontally orientated combination of casing and axle-less spiral. <IMAGE> |
