PURPOSE:To easily perform the setting of an application program when a function is added by making it possible to set a facsimile internal program by adding a communication mode independent from the application. CONSTITUTION:A transmission side (a terminal which sets an internal program and a control data at an opposite side from outside) reads the application program to be set from an EPROM 8 or a floppy disc 12, and also, reads out the control data from a nonvolatile RAM 3, and transmits a bit of information modulated at a modem 4. A receiving side (the terminal on which its own internal program and control data are set from the outside) demodulates a signal received with a line connection circuit 5, and writes the application program on the EPROM 8 or the floppy disc 12, and writes the control data on the nonvolatile RAM 3. |
