PURPOSE:To obtain a rolling die capable of rolling an internal thread by setting a nearly cylindrical roller die forming a rolling projection on an outer peripheral surface autorotatably to project a part of the periphery of each roller die slightly from a periphery of a turning main spindle. CONSTITUTION:The top end side of rotative shaft 1 equipped orthogonally to fitting base plate 2 is formed into a large diameter cylindrical form to form a main spindle 3 for turning die. On the other side, the roller dies 4, 4, 4 formed rolling projections 5, 5 - by cutting a continuous wavy groove on the periphery of the nearly cylindrical shape in the radial direction is prepared. Then, the dies 4 are attached pivotally and freely turnably on the trisected positions of the periphery of spindle 3, a part of periphery of each die 4 is slightly projected from the periphery of spindle 3 and fitted loosely to turn with the shaft 6 as a center. The base plate 2 of this die is fixed on a shaft of drilling machine, for example, while rotating, by inserting each die into a preparatory hole B of a material A to be worked, the internal thread rolling is performed in the hole B. |
