PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a motor incorporated in a rate gyro and to keep its responsibility by rotating the rate gyro lowely when the speed of a vehicle is high or extremely low and rotating the gyro regularly at the time other than that. CONSTITUTION:Output of a vehicle speed sensor 1 is branched via a F/V converter 2 and one side and the other side are connected with the minus terminal of a comparison circuit 31 and the plus terminal of a comparison circuit 32 respectively. Further, the prescribed voltages VC1 and VC2 corresponding to the respective vehicle speeds at the time of the high speed and the time of the extremely low speed are connected with the plus and minus terminals of the circuits 31 and 32 respectively. Then, since the output of the circuit 31 is H and the output of the circuit 32 is L at the time of the extremely low speed, the selective signal of a channel of a multiplexer 5 is made L. As a result, the gyro 7 is connected with the voltage VL of a low level from a gyro power source 6 and rotated lowly and made a standby state. Next, since the output of the circuit 31 is H and the output of the circuit 32 is also H at the time of the high speed, the selective signal of the channel of the multiplexer 5 is made H. As a result, the gyro 7 is connected with the voltage VH of a high level from the power source 6 and rotated highly and actuated normally.
