Detergent Compositions Liquid detergent compositions comprise 25-60% by weight of solids suspended in a liquid phase comprising at least 20% by weight of a condensation product of ethylene oxide with a mono- or di- or tri- hydroxy alkane having 1 to 4 carbon atoms having an average molecular weight in the range 150 to 600. The solids comprise a builder and optionally a bleach, and the liquid phase preferably comprises a surfactant.
