PURPOSE:To realize a high-speed ink jet printer and to reduce the clogging of ink, by a method wherein the electrode corresponding to an ink jet port is installed in the nozzle having a plurality of ink jet ports, a high-frequency electric field is applied to the electrode, bubbles are formed by heat sometimes occurring and ink is jetted by the pressure of those bubbles. CONSTITUTION:A transistor 7, a resistance 8, a capacitor 9, a microstrip line, and a wiring 10 exist on the surface of an ink chamber case 2 to form a hybrid 1C. Those circuits are the group of circuits amplifying and switching high frequency waves in each nozzle. Further, the control electrode or the like controlling the impression of high-frequency voltage onto the output electrode 4 of a printing nozzle are connected to a flat cable 12. In the ink tube 13 from the top of nozzle to the inside of ink chamber 1, if a switch is closed, the high- frequency power source 5 generates a high-frequency electric field across the output electrode 4 and the ink chamber 1. The ink in the ink chamber 13 is heated to be boiled and the ink is made by fly by the pressure of bubbles. |
