PURPOSE:To convert the reaction force in punching to mutual pressing force and to obtain a product in short time with pressing by performing a punching simultaneously from the inner part in 180 deg. symmetrical position in case of forming plural openings at the peripheral part of the retainer of a bearing. CONSTITUTION:A work (retainer) 1 is held by pressing to the inner part by six pieces of female dies 35. With the descent of a punch arrow 50, then, the tip thereof approaches between the inclined faces at the back part of female die holders 25, 25 and the holders 25, 25 are moved to the external part with the component force in the horizontal direction caused on these inclined faces and the inclined face of the arrow 50. The peripheral part of the work 1 is punched in its two places simultaneously at 180 deg. symmetrical position by male dies 28, 28. A rotating main body 20 is driven with 60 deg. rotation on completion of one time processing, the two places are punched simultaneously with the descent of the arrow 50 as said above and the product having the openings 2 at equal intervals on six places is obtd. by performing the punching after rotation of the main body 20 further. The processing may be performed with good efficiency and high accuracy by elastically energizing and holding the arrow 50 and holder 25 respectively by compression coil springs 27, 51.
