PURPOSE:To permit easy cleaning by housing a gripping part for a wiping part which grips a driving revolving shaft connected to a driving source and the wiping part for a connector ferrule and rotates cooperatively with the driving revolving shaft into a housing. CONSTITUTION:An operator moves a switching button 10 of the gripping part 2 for the wiping part toward the left side of the figure and adjusts the pressurization of a push spring 5 to lower the open/close cylinder of the gripping part 2 toward the rear, thereby opening the gripping part 2. The end face wiping part 1 is inserted therein in this state. A fabric or cotton bar impregnated with alcohol at the tip of the bar is used for the end face wiping part 1. The operator closes the button 10 thereafter to fix the end face wiping part 1 to the gripping part 2 thereof. A power source switch 9 is thrown in this state, then the driving source 7 rotates and the gripping part 2 is rotated by the driving revolving shaft 6, by which the end face wiping part 1 at the top end thereof is rotated as well and the wiping operation is executed.
