<p>PURPOSE:To improve accuracy in the measurement of the number of passengers by using a direct reflecting type optical sensor as a passenger sensor, mounting it on the ceiling side of a bus, and directing a light projecting direction at a step. CONSTITUTION:A direct reflecting type optical sensor 10 consisting of a light projecting part and a light receiving part is mounted on a ceiling 11 side of a vehicle, and its projecting direction is set at the lowest step of a step 13. At such a case, the hair of a human body has a low reflecting ratio, and to evade an influence due to the above, the sensor is mounted so that the projecting direction is set at a position having a small angle against a vertical direction. The reflected light of the sensor 10 is outputted to a condition deciding part 2, and the deciding part 2 measures the output of the sensor 10, and performs a decision whether the passenger is recognized or not. As a result, when a plenty of pulse lengths is obtained, it is decided that the passenger is recognized, and it is transmitted to a CPU through a storage part 3 and a transmission/reception part 4. Thus, by providing the sensor 10 and setting the projecting direction at the lowest step of the step 13, the number of passengers can be confirmed exactly, and measuring accuracy is improved, and also, a transmission to the CPU can be performed through the transmission/reception part 4.</p> |
