PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous grinding/polishing/cleaning of two parallel inner and outer fillet welds in a manner to bestride a single shape steel material, by a method wherein a truck provided at the inside with grinding/polishing/cleaning tools or a blast device is so constituted that it is bendable in the direction of width to form the shape of a valley. CONSTITUTION:A device is mounted in a state to bestride a single shape steel material 3, and grinding/polishing/cleaning tools 40 and 42 are regulted so that they are forced into contact with their respective fillet welds 5 with a proper pressure. A truck 20 is held by the nip formed by guide wheels 32 so that the truck runs in a manner to profile inner and outer web surfaces 3a of the shape steel material 3. With this state, driving wheels 24 are driven, and the truck 20 is travelled, and with the tools 40 and 42 rotated, two parallel inner and outer fillet welds 5 are simultaneously made grinding/polishing/cleaning by means of the tools 40 and 42. After grinding/polishing/ cleaning of the spots is completed, a latch 38 and a coupling rod 27 are unlatched and uncoupled, and if the truck is jacked by means of a handle, the truck 20 is bent in the direction of width to form the shape of a valley, and is separated from a web surface 3a of the shape steel material 3, and the tools 40 and 42 can be taken out without interferring with a flange part 3b, and are mounted from above to a subsequent spot. |
