REMOTE CONTROLLER UTILIZING TELEPHONE LINE

PURPOSE:To monitor each operating mode of an equipment to be controlled by voice using a telephone set by converting and outputting a monitor signal whose waveform or frequency is changed depending on each operating mode of the equipment to be controlled into a voice signal. CONSTITUTION:When the user operates a telephone set 1 at a visiting place at first and inputs an operating signal of a specific equipment to be controlled, the signal is delivered to a telecontrol unit 3 via a line 2. The unit 3 decodes the signal and outputs a control signal 6 to the relevant equipment 4 to be controlled. Thus, the equipment 4 uses a controller 5 to receives its control signal 6 to start the normal operation. Since the controller 5 outputs a monitor signal 7 having a waveform or a frequency depending on each operating mode, the unit 3 decides the monitor signal, converts it into a voice signal and outputs the signal to the telephone set 1.
