摘要 PURPOSE:To curtail remarkably the number of steps of a control memory, and to execute a control with a high degree of freedom by generating an execution address by selecting the contents which are read out of the control memory or the contents of a control field of a control decoder itself. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is constituted by adding a decoder operation mode FF 9 and a decoder operation mode selector 10. The FF 9 receives an output of an F field of a control memory 2 and outputs a decoder operation mode signal for a 1T period. The selector 10 switches the contents CNT of a control memory read-out register 3, or an output value of the next address field of a control decoder 6, in accordance with a designated value of the FF 9. According to such constitution, in case an operation is executed by only a C stage and a D state, '1' is set to the FF 9 by a prescribed timing. The memory 2 is stopped at an idle address, therefore, the decoder 6 executes a control of CD fields in accordance with the next address field of itself, and when the control is ended, the decoder 6 also stops. Accordingly, the number of steps of the memory 2 can be curtailed.
