PURPOSE:To perform inner surface lining in a desired film thickness by one process, in applying lining to a plurality of heterodiameter pipelines each stepwise reduced in its caliber from the start end thereof to the final end thereof, by moving a pig consisting of a plurality of elements having diameters corresponding to that of the pipelines by the pressure of a fluid. CONSTITUTION:The piercing hole 111 of a pig element 11 having the max. diameter is closed by pig elements 12, 13 connected to said hole 111 in series. Tension is applied to a pull-back rope 2 in this state and a pressurized fluid is supplied into a profile pipeline a1 according to a usual method while the brakes are applied to the pig 1. Hereupon, the pig 1 moves through the pipeline a1 while the pig elements thereof are held to a series state to form a film c1 to the inner surface of the pipeline a1. When the pig 1 reaches the final end of the heterodiameter pipeline a1 from the start end thereof, the pig element 11 having the max. diameter is left in a state obstructed by the mouth end of an intermediate heterodiameter pipeline a2 of which the diameter is reduced by one class and the remaining pig elements 12, 13 enter the pipeline a2 and move by the pressurized fluid passing through the piercing hole 111 and repeat the same operation to successively form films.
