PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a fuel ignition pump by providing an accumulator nozzle, which retains and injects high pressure fuel to be supplied in a branching form from a fuel ignition pump, for every cylinder and interposing a pressure regulation means in a fuel pipe passage which is connected to respective nozzles. CONSTITUTION:Each of accumulator nozzles 1-4 is provided at every cylinder so that fuel can be supplied from an in-line fuel ignition pump 400. Everyone of the accumulator nozzles 1-4 has an accumulator 40, which reserves the fuel supplied to an inlet port 11, and injects the fuel from an injection port 13 when a needle valve 12 is opened by the operation of a piezo-actuator 31. A device 500 for varying volume is provided, as a pressure regulating means, on the upstream side of a fuel pipe passage 70 which connects the fuel injection pump 400 to respective accumulator nozzles 1-4. And the device 500 varies the fuel pressure by linking up with an accelerator pedal 80 in such a way that the fuel pressure is increased in proportion to the opening of acceralator.
