<p>PURPOSE:To attain sure tracking control with simple circuit constitution by generating a sampling signal at the start and end point of time during the reproducing output period of a timing pilot signal. CONSTITUTION:A switch 10 is thrown by a timing signal from a timing generating circuit 15, a pilot signal is recorded on a pilot signal recording field at the start and end of each track, and a PCM video signal whose time axis is compressed is recorded to a PCM video signal recording field at the center of each track. The pilot signal recording field is provided to the start and end part of each track and consists of the 1st and 2nd fields. In case of the pilot signal recording field at the start of track, a pilot signal F1 is recorded to the 1st field of the track A stored by a rotary head HA and the pilot signal F2 is recorded to the 2nd field, a pilot signal F3 is recorded to the 1st field of a track B recorded by a rotary head HB, and the pilot signal F1 is recorded to the 2nd field.</p> |
