<p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of tape damage by drawing a magnetic tape from a cassette and releasing a tape slacked by the moment of inertia by a slack releasing post in using a guide post to mount the tape on a rotary head cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a tape cassette 3 is loaded and a lead-out post 5 draws a magnetic tape 4 in the direction of a chassis 19 along a guide rail 6, then a slack releasing post 21 is turned clockwise by tape tension. When the post 5 comes to the positioning section 6a of a rail 6, the tape is slacked because of excessive drawing of the tape more than the required length due to the moment of inertia, the tape tension is lost, the post 21 is turned in the direction (e) by the energized spring 23 to release the tape slack. Then guide rollers 17, 18 are moved in directions (x, y) to mount the tape on the rotary head cylinder 16. Thus, the slack of the magnetic tape is eliminated to prevent tape damage.</p> |
