PURPOSE:To omit the control of a constant circuit for a wide range of temperature by using a current mirror circuit to form a current control element. CONSTITUTION:The output of an error amplifier 3 is supplied to a current mirror circuit 15 forming a current limit element via a current limit resistance 4. The circuit 15 consists of three PNP transistors TR 15-1-15-3 and the base and the collector of the TR 15-1 are connected in common with each other and then connected to a resistance 4. Then the outputs are extracted out of the TR 15-2 and 15-3. A load 7 and a current detecting circuit 6 are connected to the output terminals of the TR 15-3 and 15-2 of the circuit 15 respectively. Here the input and output currents of the circuit 15 are equal to each other over a wide range of currents. Furthermore it is known that the circuit 15 receives no effects of temperatures. Thus the coincidence is secured among the output current of an error amplifier 3, the load 7 and the circuit 6.
