The load bearing drop valve is for linear and non-linear hydraulic motors, and comprises a counter valve (13) parallel-connected to a first check valve (15) in a connection to the cylinder lift side (3). A throttle valve (12) is likewise connected to another check valve (14) in the connection to the cylinder's drop side (4). The first check valve (15) conducts fluid to the cylinder (2) up to the counter valve, and forces flow from the cylinder past that valve when it is open. The second check valve (14) forces the complete flow to the cylinder's drop side to pass the throttle valve. With increased load in the circuit from the cylinder's lift side, the effect of the throttle valve is increased, so that the cylinder's drop speed is diminished. |
