PURPOSE:To take in the sub-code information from an external part at the time of recording and to select a music satisfactorily at the time of reproduction by providing the terminal to fetch the information useful to the sub-code to use with the music signal input terminal. CONSTITUTION:The recording signal of a disk 3 of a CD player 1 is detected by an optical system 4, after the signal processing, a user bit 2 and a sound signal 23 are extracted in the CD signal frame, and the sound signal including the bit 22 is sent from an output terminal 8 to an input terminal 9 of a PCM tape recorder 2. The sound signal is D/A-converted 7 and sent from an output terminal 17 to an input terminal 19. For the input signal of the terminal 9, a bit 22 only is removed by a processing circuit 10, processed by a sub-control part 12 of a processing circuit 11, and recorded through an amplifier 13 from a sound recording head 14 to a sub-code part 25 of the track on a tape 15. On the other hand, the input signal of the terminal 19 is A/D-converted 20, and recorded to a PCM data part 27 of the track.
