PURPOSE:To write automatically a postcard address by providing a postcard address printing device. CONSTITUTION:A postcard address printing device 13 fetches necessary information from a postcard address document which has been stored in a document buffer 16 and sends a printing data of a one line portion to a line buffer in a printing mechanism 19. This printing data is printed to a postcard by a printer device 20. The postcard address printing device 13 is provided with a document line counter 22 for designating a line of a postcard address document which is stored in the document buffer 16, and a printing line counter 23 for designating a line of a postcard which is printed by a printer 20, and these counters 22, 23 are controlled by a control part 21. A copy instruction table 24 stores copy information for showing how many characters from which ordinal number of lines and which ordinal number of digits of the postcard address document are to be transferred to what ordinal number of digits of a composite buffer 25, with regard to a printing data of each line of the postcard which has been designated by the printing line counter 23.
