PURPOSE:To detect the clogging of a luminance signal by an electronic view finder and that of a color difference signal by a display means such as an LED by obtaining a signal where a luminance signal is added in a high frequency band and a chrominance signal is added in a low frequency band and amplifying said signal by one head amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The luminance signal is reproduced by the 1st rotating head 3, and connected to an adder 9 through a high-pass filter 10, white the chrominance signal is reproduced by the 2nd rotary head 4. Only a Q.FM signal is passed through the 1st low-pass filter 11 and inputted to an adder 12. The luminance signal is inputted to the electronic view finder 8 through a luminance signal reproducing circuit 7, and a picture can recognize whether clogging occurs or not. In the color difference signal its low frequency component is passed through the 2nd low-pass filter 14, and detected by a detection circuit 15, whereby the presence or absence of the chrominance signal is found. By displaying on a display circuit 16, the clogging of the chrominance signal can be detected.
