The invention concerns a device for continual monitoring of system parameters for damping d, asymmetry k and uneven tuning v in impedance-earthed power systems. The parameters are calculated from the circle diagram uEN=f(v), that is the relative zero-point voltage as a function of the uneven tuning. The circle diagram is defined in turn by two measurement points for uEN which are obtained by connection or disconnection of a reactance complement between the system's neutral point and earth. The invention improves known devices for monitoring the condition in impedance-earthed power systems. For instance the continual monitoring of the abovementioned power parameters makes possible better detection of a high-resistive earth connection. The invention can be used in any computer system which can provide the necessary measuring, monitoring and calculating functions. <IMAGE>
