The parachute has at least one guide or operative aperture with a cover flap which can be drawn downwards by the parachutist using guide lines so that a greater or lesser part of the aperture is freed. The flap comprises a screen part fixed to the parachute along one edge of the aperture, with the other opposing free edge being spring-fastened to the parachute material. Thus the parachutist pulls the flap down against spring force. |
