<p>PURPOSE:To exactly execute a daisy chain connection by a simple work, by installing a dummy substrate provided with a means for short-circuiting a wiring, to an unmounted slot. CONSTITUTION:A dummy substrate 25 is inserted into a connector 23c of an unmounted slot, when it is unnecessary to mount a substrate to which electronic parts 21 have been mounted, to a backboard 22 having a daisy chain connection use wiring. In a projecting part 27 which is inserted into the connector 23c of the substrate 25, a short circuit use wiring pattern 26 is formed. The short circuit use wiring pattern 26 short-circuits connecting terminals which have been provided on the daisy chain connection wiring of the connector 23c, when the dummy substrate 25 has been installed to the connector 23c. As a result, the daisy chain connection use wiring between the connector 23c and a connector 23b, and the daisy chain connection use wiring between the connector 23c and a connector 23d are short-circuited by the short circuit wiring pattern 26, and the daisy chain connection is secured.</p> |
