PURPOSE:To perform the corona discharge treatment of a resin molding of a complicated shape, by moving a corona discharge electrode of a special shape along the vicinity of the resin molding while applying thereto corona discharge from the electrode. CONSTITUTION:A resin molding 1 is fitted on an electrode mount as a counter electrode means D. After an evacuating F is actuated, the X, Y and Z axis transfer means 20, 30 and 40 of an electrode transfer means B are set at the start positions of corona discharge treatment, and the distance between the molding 1 and the discharge point formed on the irregularly faced curve S at the extremely of the held part 51 of a corona discharge electrode 50 held at the extremity of the Z-axis arm is set at a predetermined value. A high-frequency wave application means is actuated and high-frequency waves are applied between the electrode 50 and the electrode mount 61 as the counter electrode to irradiate the molding 1 with corona discharge from the discharge point 52 and at the same time servomotors 25, 32 and 45 are actuated according to the predetermined program to move the transfer means 20, 30 and 40, whereupon the electrode 50 is moved to perform corona discharge treatment.
