PURPOSE:To increase freedom degree of device design and to make the device efficient by arranging the device shiftably between the first position which can detect the switch to detect the presence and the absence of an erroneous deleting preventing claw provided at a cassette and the second position which cannot detect it. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 1 is attached or detached, all parts to interrupt it are evacuated to the outside of the channel. Since an erroneous recording preventing claw 36 is in the vicinity of the shaft center of the garage and a switch 37 also is in the vicinity of it, it is necessary to shift from the usual detectable position.A protruded part 38 of the garage is operated against a spring 93 to energize to a switch plate 92 to provide the switch 37 at the time of releasing the garage and constituted so that it cannot hinder the slide of the cassette 1 in the direction of an arrow 15 or in the reverse direction. The plate 92 is supported by a shaft 94 at the side wall part of the base plate 9, abutted to the plate 9 and the position is determined. The device is shifted from the condition, the slide of the cassette 1 is constituted not to be hindered and the freedom degree of the design can be increased.
