PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration in a recording signal due to crosstalk of an erasure current by a rotary erasure head FEH by approaching one rotating phase of the rotary erasure head FEH to one of rotating phases of plural rotary recording heads and arranging the recording heads and an FEH transformer as specified. CONSTITUTION:The rotating phase of the FEH is approached to that of the rotary recording head R, and transformer parts of the heads R, L on the rotary transformer are opposed by face-to-face and the transformer part of the FHE is arranged in the circumferential opposition. Then the transformer of the FHE and the transformer of the head R are parted remotest. Thus, the crosstalk due to the erasure current of the FHE onto a recording signal of the head R is least. As to the period when the crosstalk onto the head L is caused, denoting the rotation phase difference between the FEH (c) and the head R (b) as theta1, then the difference theta1 is very short. Thus, no large adverse effect is imposed on the head L (a).
